Sweet Disorder
DELIGHT IN DISORDER
A sweet disorder in the dress
Kindles in clothes a wantonness:
A lawn about the shoulders thrown
Into a fine distraction:
An erring lace, which here and there
Enthralls the crimson stomacher:
A cuff neglectful, and thereby
Ribbands to flow confusedly:
A winning wave (deserving note)
In the tempestuous petticoat:
A careless shoe-string, in whose tie
I see a wild civility:
Do more bewitch me, than when art
Is too precise in every part.

Stop Making Sense Festival
Come September, I’m off to Croatia to be part of something rather exciting. So exciting in fact, that I wrote a preview. I have seriously bizarre flights via Dusseldorf, a tent worth approximately 6pounds and no definitive idea of what I’ve gotten myself into - but I couldn’t be more elated! It’s the first ever Stop Making Sense Festival and I’m super chuffed to be a small part of it. Organiser, Chris Greenwood, is jolly nice too and answered some questions about putting together such an occasion. Expect reports and pictures galore when I get back. But in the mean time - feel free to read the ol’ Spoonfed Preview.
Theme: Speaker by Alex Willemyns.
