Sweet Disorder
DELIGHT IN DISORDER
A sweet disorder in the dress
Kindles in clothes a wantonness:
A lawn about the shoulders thrown
Into a fine distraction:
An erring lace, which here and there
Enthralls the crimson stomacher:
A cuff neglectful, and thereby
Ribbands to flow confusedly:
A winning wave (deserving note)
In the tempestuous petticoat:
A careless shoe-string, in whose tie
I see a wild civility:
Do more bewitch me, than when art
Is too precise in every part.
-Robert Herrick
Standon Calling 2010 Review
I was lucky enough to head on over to quite the kicking Standon Calling last weekend. As my first UK festival, it pulled out plenty of music magic that left me filled to the brim with beautiful tunes. Seriously though, I was absolutely impressed with the quality I came across.
It rained - yes - but I feel that my English festival experience would not have been quite complete without a few troublesome puddles. I had a glorious time, and was joined by the vivacious photographer Ondine Goldswain.
Theme: Speaker by Alex Willemyns.
