Sweet Disorder

DELIGHT IN DISORDER
A sweet disorder in the dress
Kindles in clothes a wantonness:
A lawn about the shoulders thrown
Into a fine distraction:
An erring lace, which here and there
Enthralls the crimson stomacher:
A cuff neglectful, and thereby
Ribbands to flow confusedly:
A winning wave (deserving note)
In the tempestuous petticoat:
A careless shoe-string, in whose tie
I see a wild civility:
Do more bewitch me, than when art
Is too precise in every part.

-Robert Herrick

Still testing out our new lights. These with my grumpy model, who just woke up, or I woke up, turned out ok.

For the record, it is relatively easy to wake up a wee bit disgruntled when one has traipsed around a pub all night long, only to be shaken awake early-ish, handed a cup of tea and poked and prodded till one is standing in front of the camera. Nevertheless, she is a clever lass and I will commend her determination. And persistence.
