Sweet Disorder

DELIGHT IN DISORDER
A sweet disorder in the dress
Kindles in clothes a wantonness:
A lawn about the shoulders thrown
Into a fine distraction:
An erring lace, which here and there
Enthralls the crimson stomacher:
A cuff neglectful, and thereby
Ribbands to flow confusedly:
A winning wave (deserving note)
In the tempestuous petticoat:
A careless shoe-string, in whose tie
I see a wild civility:
Do more bewitch me, than when art
Is too precise in every part.

So, I went to that Blitz Party.

There we went. Ondine, Bevan and I. And it was deliciously 1940s. The decor, the people, the atmosphere:all top class. Even the drinks acted upper crust; 8pounds for approximately 100ml of beverage should not be taken lightly. If I could change anything - I would have rubbed out a few attendees (it was chock-a-block), added a good deal of ventilation (it was excessively hot) and, well, I think that’s it. A magic carpet ride home wouldn’t have hurt either as the Night Bus and I don’t have a terribly loving relationship. But, never mind that, my review is up, so click the link and take a little look see.
